Minecraft Camp for 9-13 year olds!
June 28th - July 2nd 1pm to 4:00pm
This half-day camp is for students ages 9 to 13 years old. Students will explore the amazing world of Minecraft. Students must have a Minecraft account created before camp. This camp is for students of any experience level.
Important things to remember:
All students must be walked to the classroom each day. Students may be dropped off 5 minutes before camp starts but no earlier.
Students can be picked up at the covered patio tables outside the classroom.
Students must bring a water bottle, two snacks and lunch everyday.
SciTech Academy is located on the North end of the Palm Springs Air Museum grounds - not inside the museum. You can find us by following the signs for the "Berger Learning Annex". Look for the fenced off area with a large white sign that says "SMaRT Education."
Please note: SMaRT Education and its employees cannot be responsible for any electronic devices your child brings to camp (cell phones, tablets, gaming devices, etc...) and will not be responsible for loss or damages to any.
Please send students to camp with closed toe shoes to avoid injury during time outdoors.
A refund is given only when the SMaRT Education cancels the camp. SMaRT Education reserves the right to cancel and/or reschedule programs at any time. Credit is not given for absences.
2021 COVID-19 Guidelines
The health, safety and well-being of our students, our staff, their families, and the community are most important to us. With that in mind, we have modified our typical summer camps format to fit current guidelines and best practices.
-Our single day camp option, SciTech Days, will not be available for the summer camps session.
-Class size will be limited to 10 students.
-Students are required to wear masks.
-We ask that families only send one person in to drop off or pick up students. All others should wait in the car or outside.
-We also ask that families minimize the number of persons dropping off and picking up as much as possible.
-Drop off is at 9am. Families may not wait in the classroom if arriving early to drop off or pick up. If you arrive early to drop off, please wait in your vehicle or outside the gated area. If you arrive early to pick up, you may certainly take your student early, but may not wait in the classroom for camp to be over.
-Students who are sick, or have had a fever should not come to camp.
SMaRT Education reserves the right to further modify the camp format as needed to comply with state/county/city government regulations as needed. Protocols will continue to be refined and adjusted as needed to ensure everyone’s well being.
Our summer camps are a fun, hands-on way to explore the world of
Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Math.
Including Programming, Engineering Concepts, Scientific Exploration, Digital Media, Robotics, and more!
Summer at SciTech is ALWAYS an amazing summer of fun and discovery!
