Science Math and Robotic Technology Education (SMaRT Education), is a public 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization located in Southern California. We are built on the forward-thinking investment approach that youth in our programs will be

the next inventors, entrepreneurs, and industry leaders.

Important things to remember:

All payments are processed online with your bank/debit card or credit card. **Please note: if you are using CHARTER SCHOOL FUNDS, you will need to complete the registration process until up to the payment portion then contact our office via email at smarte@smarteducation.us to coordinate your payment. Your child's spot in the camp is notguaranteed until we receive confirmation of funds from your charter school.**

All students must be walked to the classroom each day.

Students must bring a water bottle, two snacks and lunch everyday.  Because of the serious potential health concerns for students with peanut allergies, we ask that all families please consider a peanut-free lunch and snacks.

If you are new to camps at SciTech Academy, please note we are located on the North end of the Palm Springs Air Museum. SciTech Academy is not inside the museum. You can find us by following the signs for the "Berger Learning Annex" as you drive through the museum grounds. Look for the fenced off area with a large white sign that says "SMaRT Education."

Please note: SMaRT Education and its employees cannot be responsible for any electronic devices your child brings to camp (cell phones, tablets, gaming devices, etc...) and will not be responsible for loss or damages to any.

Please send students to camp with closed toe shoes to avoid injury during time outdoors.

Spring 2021 COVID-19 Guidelines

The health, safety and well-being of our students, our staff, their families, and the community are most important to us. With that in mind, we have modified our typical format to fit current guidelines and best practices.

-Students are required to wear masks when attending camps/classes/workshops.
-Students will be met by the instructor at the covered class area at drop off 5 minutes before class starts.
-Students can be picked up at the covered waiting area 5 minutes before the end of class.
-Drop off is 5 minutes before class starts. Please do not arrive any earlier. Families may not wait in the class area if arriving early to drop off or pick up. If you arrive early to drop off, please wait in your vehicle or outside the class area. If you arrive early to pick up, you may certainly take your student early, but you may not wait in the class area for class to be over.
-Adults dropping off or picking up should not enter beyond the door to the classroom (if indoor programs are allowed to resume).
-All persons must wear a facial covering at all times.
-We ask that families only send one person to drop off or pick up students. All others should wait in the car or outside the gates.
-We also ask that families minimize the number of persons dropping off and picking up as much as possible.
-Students who are sick, or have had a fever should not come to camp.

SMaRT Education reserves the right to further modify the camp format as needed to comply with state/county/city government regulations as needed in the coming days/weeks/months. Protocols will continue to be refined and adjusted as needed to ensure everyone’s well being.

A refund is given only when the SMaRT Education cancels the class. SMaRT Education reserves the right to cancel and/or reschedule programs at any time. Credit is not given for absences.

First through fifth grade students enjoy cool STEAM projects at SciTech Academy, our science and technology center in Palm Springs!
